Houston – Satellite Logistics Group (SLG), a leading supply-chain solution provider for the beverage industry, announced today that Chris Spradley has joined the company as craft brand account manager.
In this newly created position, Spradley will serve as a liaison between craft beer customers and the company’s innovation, technology and business development areas. His first priority will be to introduce existing and potential SLG customers to the company’s KegID™ asset-tracking capability and demonstrate how it can help them to maximize keg use, improve accountability and minimize loss rates. SLG added the industry-leading asset-tracking technology earlier this year with the company’s acquisition of AnotherRound Apps.
Spradley is well known to craft beer aficionados. He is the co-host of a weekly radio show focused on beer and beer culture and recently launched “Destination Beer,” a new television series for craft beer lovers. His extensive industry background includes experience in sales, marketing and distribution as well as restaurant management. Most recently, Spradley served as president of Craft Beer Consultants LLC, working with clients such as Smashburger and Rahr & Sons Brewing Company. He is a certified beer server and has passed the tasting portion of the Certified Cicerone beer sommelier exam.
