Overshores Brewing to Host Launch Party in December

overshoes bottlesEast Haven, CT — Overshores Brewing Co., Connecticut’s first and only dedicated Belgian style brewery will host a Grand Opening Holiday Bash on Saturday, December 13, 2014 from noon-4:00 pm. This free admission event will feature live music, Belgian beer specials, limited edition beers, brewery tours, giveaways, and food trucks.

Loyal Overshores fans and new friends alike are invited to attend the Grand Opening Holiday Bash. Free admission and live music with beer specials and limited edition beers including brewery exclusive dry hopped Belgians that cannot be found anywhere else. Food by local food trucks The Whey Station and High Tide Gourmet.

“This has been an exciting year from Overshores as each of our five signature and award-winning Belgian style beers have become available in Connecticut and then Washington, DC,” said Christian Amport, founder and president of Overshores Brewing Co. “Our Grand Opening Holiday Bash is a chance to celebrate with our loyal fans and to welcome our new friends.”

Overshores Brewing Co.’s five signature and award-winning beers Belle Fermiere Saison, Blanc de Blanche Wit, Overshores Simpel, Tripel Brun and the Belgique du Noire are all available at the brewery and from Connecticut retailers, bars and restaurants.

The brewery is open regularly on Thursday and Fridays from 4:00-8:00 pm and Saturday and Sunday from 1:00-5:00 pm for tours and tastings of both Overshores Brewing Co. signature beers and select Belgian beers that continue to inspire the brewers at Overshores.

Other upcoming Overshores events include Meet the Brewer! this Saturday, November 8 from 1:00-5:00 pm at the brewery. A dry-hopped saison will be pouring in the bar and Lead Brewer Brian Cox will be on hand to answer questions about hops, brewing, and fermentation.
