WILLIAMSTON, Mich. – Old Nation Brewing Company today announced they will be open to the public Wednesday, June 10. Beginning at 4 p.m., guests will be able to enjoy a menu of Michigan beer and food prepared with local ingredients.

“We are thrilled to open and share our love of craft beer and food with Williamston and the surrounding communities,” said Travis Fritts, owner of Old Nation. “This project has been years of hard work. It’s a surreal feeling knowing that we will officially be open this week. I couldn’t have done it without our incredible staff and the overwhelming support from the community.”

The brewpub will feature 14 handles of Old Nation beer, with a Scottish ale and rye pale ale being two of the first beers on the menu. Attached to the brewpub is a 22,000 square foot brewing facility that will have an initial capacity of 10,000 barrels, with space to expand to 30,000 barrels. Old Nation also plans to keg and bottle their beer for distribution to retailers and restaurants in Michigan and beyond.

The extensive food menu is a mix of traditional pub food and eclectic dishes. Staples such as burgers and pizza can be found, as well as dishes like Báhn mi, poutine, falafel and pasty. “We’re going to take our food just as seriously as our beer. Everything will be made from scratch and we’re going to use as many local ingredients as we can.” said Fritts.

According to Fritts, after the opening day, the brewpub will be open seven days a week from 11 a.m. to midnight.
