Mother Road Hires New Production Manager

FLAGSTAFF, AZ — Mother Road Brewing has hired Campbell Morissy, until recently the production manager at Stranahan’s Distillery, as Production Manager to lead the Mother Road Brew Team. Campbell brings a wide range of professional and academic experience to Mother Road.  Urs Riner, Mother Road’s first head brewer has moved up to Oregon for family reasons and is now working with Cascade Lakes Brewing.

Campbell’s career began in 2011 at Durango Brewing Co. where he started as an unpaid intern but quickly became a full time brewer. There he learned the entire operation from wort production to filtering to packaging and everything in between.To increase his knowledge and advance his career, he ventured to Edinburgh, Scotland, to attend the International Centre for Brewing & Distilling at Heriot-Watt University. Campbell received his MSc with distinction in September 2013.

Most recently, Campbell was the Production Manager at Stranahan’s Colorado Whiskey in Denver, one of the original American craft distilleries producing an award winning malt whiskey. Morrissy managed the day-to-day operations at this 24-hour a day facility that produces 1.5 million gallons of wash and 2,500 barrels of whiskey annually.
