Larkspur, California — For the first time ever, this Saturday you can add Blueberry Ale to the list of items you can pick-up at the Marin Country Mart Farmers’ Market
From now through September, on the second and fourth Saturday of each month, Marin Brewing Co. will have a stand amongst the locally grown produce and specialty items. At the Marin Country Mart Farmers’ Market in Larkspur we’ll be selling cold 22-ounce bottles of our favorite beers at super low brewery direct prices. We’ll be accepting both cash and credit.
Our offerings will change every week, just like the fresh produce does at the market. That’s our way of ensuring we offer only the freshest product to customers. This week we’ll have a half dozen different beers, but unlike the folks selling kettle corn, we won’t be offering samples.
“The farmers’ market is a great chance to connect and meet with customers,” said Brendan Moylan, proprietor of the Marin Brewing Company. “Being at the farmers’ market offers an amazing opportunity for us to talk about our passion, get to know the people who love craft beer and answer their questions in a relaxed atmosphere.”
Marin Brewing Brewmaster Arne Johnson sees Saturday as another chance to advance the drink local movement. “For us, this means we get to meet the people who want to support their local brewer, and in return we can offer them beer that travels less than a 100 feet from where it was produced. It doesn’t get much fresher.”
