South Burlington, VT – Magic Hat Brewing Company recently released Low Key – a new session IPA tuned to the key of ease with a tropical hop lead and a smooth malt bass. This easy-drinking session IPA is light in body, but packs a big hop flavor. With 4.5% ABV and 40 IBUs, Low Key is the perfect IPA to enjoy any time of day.
“When we brewed Low Key, we chose a variety of hops for particular reasons. We picked El Dorado for its candied, tropical bitterness, CTZ to add a note of pine, and finished it off with Chinook to give the beer a citrus aroma,” said Chris Rockwood, Head Brewer, Magic Hat. “Our goal was to create an easy-drinking IPA that craft beer drinkers could enjoy all-day long. So, whether they’re heading to a music festival, hanging out at a barbeque or taking a camping trip, Low Key is a great choice.”
Low Key is available on draft at some of the best beer bars across the country. It will also be available in 6-pack bottles and 6-pack cans, as well as 16 oz. cans. Low Key pairs well with light dishes, spicy tacos and grilled swordfish. It’s also a great complement to brie, camembert, and cheddar cheeses, as well as desserts, like sorbet and lemon cake.

Last year, Magic Hat introduced Electric Peel for the first time ever. A year-round grapefruit IPA, Electric Peel sends shockwaves of citrus hop flavor through each sip. With an ABV of 6.0% and 65 IBUs, this delightfully hoppy ale is made with real pink grapefruit and grapefruit peel, giving beer drinkers the perfect combination of citrus flavors.
