PHILLIPSBURG, NJ — September 3, 2012 — New Jersey craft beer wholesaler, Hunterdon Distributors, is proud to announce they will begin distribution for Neshaminy Creek Brewing Company on September 10, 2012. The inaugural launch will be limited to draft only with bottles on the horizon for late 2012.
Neshaminy Creek began brewing in May 2012 and is located in historic Bucks County, Pennsylvania. Head Brewer Jeremy Myers is a familiar face in the local craft beer scene having previously worked at River Horse in Lambertville before branching out and starting his own brewery. In addition to his brewery experience, Myers is a graduate of the Beer Judge Certification Program and the prestigious Siebel Institute of Technology.
While Myers is particularly fond of German styles and hop-forward American ales, he and his team live by the motto “brew anything”. “I love the challenge of not only brewing styles we haven’t done before, but also brewing with crazy ingredients that present different hurdles in the brewing process.”
Since opening, availability of their products has been limited to growler fills at the brewery and distribution within the local Bucks County and metro-Philadelphia area. With the craft beer scene burgeoning in New Jersey, Myers knew it was only a matter of time before he would cross state lines. Having previous experience with Hunterdon and a continued relationship with owner Dave Masterson, the choice of a distributor was an easy decision for Myers. “Dave and his team know craft beer, are familiar with the ins and outs of brewing and Hunterdon’s portfolio speaks for itself” says Myers.
The debut of Neshaminy Creek in New Jersey will include all three of their year-round brews: Tribute Tripel, Trauger Pilsner and County Line IPA, as well as the highly anticipated Leon Russian Imperial Stout. In keeping with the “brew anything” motto, this unique “Smores-style” stout is brewed with marshmallow fluff, bittersweet chocolate and graham crackers. Seasonals and limited releases such as Mudbank Milk Stout, Highwater Hefeweizen, Dunks Ferry Dunkelweizen and Neshaminator Weizenbock are still in the planning stages for the year ahead.
