Hi-Wire Brewing Announces March Beer Releases

ASHEVILLE, N.C. — Highlighting three of their four seasonal and specialty beer programs, Hi-Wire Brewing will be releasing a variety of new and old beers beginning the second week of March. Customers will soon be able to enjoy upcoming releases including Aerialist Spring Lager, Hazy & Juicy & Hoppy & Fresh Double Dry Hopped New England Style IPA, Citra Gose, and Horchata Sour.

Seasonal Series | Aerialist Spring Lager (5.5% ABV)

Hi-Wire Brewing’s seasonal lager pairs two styles of beer: A German-Style Lager and an American IPA. Brewed with their house lager yeast and hopped with Citra, Mandarina Bavaria, and Huell Melon, this drinkable summer beer has big hop flavors of citrus and tropical fruit, which give way to more subtle flavors of peach, melon, and apricot with a smooth, balanced finish. This beer will hit shelves the second week of March in six-packs across Hi-Wire’s entire distribution footprint, and will also be available on draft in numerous bars and restaurants across their territories through June.

Specialty 16oz 4-Pack Can Series | Citra Gose (4.2% ABV)

Next up from Hi-Wire Brewing’s Specialty program for 2018 is Citra Gose, available in 4-packs of 16oz cans beginning March 12. This refreshingly tart Gose blends perfectly with the citrus and tropical fruit notes of Citra hops, creating an extremely aromatic and floral sour wheat beer with no bitterness. Citra Gose will be available in both of Hi-Wire Brewing’s taprooms and will see limited distribution in their entire footprint.

Specialty 16oz 4-Pack Can Series | Hazy & Juicy & Hoppy & Fresh IPA (7.5% ABV)

It’s all in the name. Double dry hopped New England-style India Pale Ale that is super hazy, juicy, chock full of bright hop aroma, and silky smooth. A grip of oats and touch of lactose rounds out the crushable, tropical IPA. Available in 4-packs of 16oz cans, this beer will see very limited distribution beginning Monday, March 19.

Sour Program | Horchata Sour (8.8% ABV)

Inspired by super sweet and creamy Mexican-style Horchata, this deep red colored mixed culture sour ale balances aromatic notes of amaretto, ice cream truck vanilla, and cinnamon with flavors of baking spice and tart cherry. This beer will see limited distribution beginning in early April.
