Boston, MA – In the fall of 2014, Harpoon put a hoppy, citrusy, but not tire-out-the-palette-bitter double IPA on tap in their brewery tasting room in Boston. Brewed on Harpoon’s 10-barrel pilot system, the beer was the result of the brewery’s ongoing hop experimentation. It quickly became one of the most sought after beers on tap at the brewery, so last fall Harpoon released it on draft only with limited distribution. Still, fans of the beer clamored for more, and Harpoon was listening. Introducing Harpoon Hoppy Adventure Double IPA, now available in 16 oz. can 4-packs.
Harpoon Hoppy Adventure has a pronounced citrus and tropical fruit aroma. Golden pale with a slight haze, it has a subtly sweet character from the malt profile and a crisp, hoppy finish.
