Growler Delivery Service Hopsy Expands to New York City

New York City, New York — Hopsy, the online marketplace and delivery service for fresh local craft beer, launches its first East Coast hub in New York City today. New York beer lovers can now get freshly brewed craft beer from the best New York breweries delivered right to their doorstep.

“Hopsy’s mission is to bring the best beer experience to the home,” said Sebastien Tron, Hopsy’s co-founder and CEO. “We’ve been working closely with over 30 breweries in California for about a year and a half, bringing the best fresh craft beers to more than 20,000 beer lovers. We are excited to bring the word of good fresh craft beer to New York City.”

Hopsy partners directly with local microbreweries and delivers fresh craft beer to the home, providing unprecedented access to small beer batches typically available only on tap at the breweries themselves. Beer is delivered cold right after it’s been picked up from the breweries, guaranteeing maximum freshness when delivered to your door. Beers are available both in 32 fl. oz. glass growlers and in TORPs, a two-liter container meant to be tapped in THE SUB®, the home draft appliance manufactured by Krups®.

Hopsy partner breweries in New York include The Bronx Brewery, Moustache Brewing Co., Iconyc Brewery, and Flagship Brewing Co. More breweries will be added to the selection very soon.

Prices start at $9.99 for a 32 fl. oz. growler and $17.99 for a 67 fl. oz. TORP. Users order online at www.hopsy.beer and schedule their delivery as late as the day before Tuesday through Saturday. There’s no order minimum or subscription commitment. Hopsy delivers to all of Manhattan and most of Brooklyn, with new locations and services coming soon.
