Buellton, California — Finding public transportation in the Santa Ynez Valley can be a challenge. While most towns are very easy to walk around, it is difficult to find affordable transportation to and from each town— especially at night. Figueroa Mountain Brewing Company aims to solve this problem by providing a free shuttle service for their customers wanting to safely enjoy the great food, beer and wine this valley has to offer. Starting on Friday, June 6, 2014, the “Valley Loop” shuttle will do just as its name implies: loop around the Santa Ynez Valley with six stops in the towns of Buellton, Los Olivos, Santa Ynez and Solvang. The 13-passenger shuttle van begins its first pickup at Fig Mtn Brew’s Buellton Taproom (45 Industrial Way) at 11:00 AM every Friday through Sunday with additional departures starting at 1:00, 3:00, 5:00, 7:00 and 9:00 PM.
“We strongly believe in supporting a safe and fun beer tasting experience,” explains Fig Mtn Brew’s co-owner and Vice President, Jim Dietenhofer. “The Valley Loop will give our customers and visitors the opportunity to enjoy our taprooms as well as other businesses throughout the valley.” Seating is first-come, first served. There is no proof of purchase required to board the shuttle but customers who provide a receipt from a Figueroa Mountain Brewing Company taproom will receive priority seating.
