Willie’s is making its mark on the alcohol industry by introducing Superbrew – a mix between a hard cider and a spiked seltzer – a first-of-its-kind. The mission behind the shift is simple – know what’s in your can. Using real, simple ingredients and declaring them on the cans themselves, Willie’s is poised to revolutionize the way the alcohol industry operates.

The new Sparkling Ginger & Lemon Superbrew (4.5% ABV) shares the same clean base recipe as the former Craft Ginger Beer, of fresh cold-pressed ginger, brown sugar and lemon juice. But instead of nutmeg, the recipe calls for turmeric – one of the most powerful antioxidants currently on the market.
“The addition of turmeric in our Ginger & Lemon Superbrew creates an amazing bridge between the ginger and lemon – similar to what you find in many fresh ginger teas. It also adds a great earthy complexity and has that rich, golden color that’s often associated with the plant,” said Enriquez.
The newest flavor, Sparkling Pomegranate & Acai Superbrew (4.5% ABV) is made up of just four ingredients – pomegranate, acai, lemon juice and cane sugar to create a refreshing light, tart, fruity flavor – perfect for everyday sipping.
Willie’s Superbrew is currently available in six-packs of 12 oz. cans priced at $10.99 MSRP at major and select independent retailers throughout Massachusetts and Rhode Island, including Wegmans, Whole Foods and Star Market.
