Coronado, CA Coronado Brewing has announced it will join the legacy of great brewers when it enters the state of Colorado this week. The Southern California brewer’s hoppy ales will be available on draught and in bottles starting Monday October 6th, kicking off in Denver with a launch by Beverage Distributors.

Coronado’s Core Series of beers will be offered including Islander IPA, Orange Ave Wit and Idiot IPA, as well as occasional launches of seasonal Crown Series favorites such as Stupid Stout Imperial Stout.

Coming off being crowned as the World Beer Cup® Champion Brewery/Champion Brewmaster among Midsize breweries, Coronado Brewing president Rick Chapman will be visiting Colorado to help launch the brews.

“We couldn’t be happier about our partnership with Coronado Brewing Company,” said Jeremy Tostrup, Vice-President Beer and Spirits for Beverage Distributors/Summit Division. “The addition of Coronado rounds out our great portfolio of craft beers. And beers coming from California are well received in Colorado. It’s a perfect combination and we are excited to have Coronado in our portfolio. The market reception to this award-winning brewery has been very positive and we can’t wait to see what 2015 brings us!”

About Coronado Brewing Company

In 1996, when craft beer was still a foreign term and San Diego County was home to only a handful of breweries, the Chapman brothers Ron and Rick opened a brewpub in their hometown of Coronado. CBC brews abundantly hoppy West Coast-style ales staying true to their San Diego roots. They began distributing their beers throughout the local market, and today you can find Coronado beers in 17 states across the US. In addition to their long established pub in Coronado, the company opened a tasting room inside their newly built San Diego production facility in early 2013.
