Chatham Brewing Releases Lawn Dart Kolsch in Cans

CHATHAM, N.Y. — Chatham Brewing, Columbia County’s first and finest brewery in New York’s upper Hudson Valley, released a canned version of its kolsch-style ale, Lawn Dart Kolsch.

Lawn Dart is a kolsch with a 6.5 percent ABV. It is a German style light ale, brewed like a lager with a cold rest. It is made with Bavaria Mandarina hops to give it a refreshing citrusy nose. It drinks like a blonde lager while maintaining the hop flavor nuances of a pale ale. Lawn Dart is a medium bodied beer with a beautiful light golden color. This is going to be your summer beer of choice.

“Kolsches tend to be great summer beers because they are light and refreshing; The Lawn Dart is no exception. You’ll want to bring it on whatever adventures you might have in mind for this summer,” said Tom Crowell, co-founder and owner, Chatham Brewing.

The Lawn Dart Kolsch will be available in cans just in time for the Indepencence Day weekend, as long as supplies lasts in retailers, bars, and restaurants that proudly carry Chatham Brewing products.
