Chatham Brewing Partners with CraftLink to Expand Beer Availability in New York City

CHATHAM, N.Y. — Chatham Brewing, Columbia County’s first and finest brewery in New York’s upper Hudson Valley, has partnered with CraftLink to expand availability of its beer throughout New York City.

As a self-distributor, Chatham Brewing distributes directly to bars, restaurants, and retailers primarily in New York’s Hudson Valley and various points in Eastern New York. However, with such an arrangement, expansion can be prohibitive. CraftLink is an innovative service that allows craft breweries either in New York City or in Upstate to self-ship or work with a third-party shipping source.

As an award-winning brewery that has been lauded with the Mathew Vassar Cup for Best Hudson Valley Brewery three times in the past decade and in partnership with CraftLink, Chatham Brewing products can be found throughout New York City.

“We pride ourselves on our personal connection and relationships with our accounts through self-distribution,” said Tom Crowell, co-founder and owner, Chatham Brewing. “However, this model can be challenging in terms of expanding into major markets, such as New York City. With CraftLink, we’re able to save significant resources while retaining ourself-distribution model.”

Prospective bars, restaurants, and retailers that would like to explore Chatham Brewing’s inventory through CraftLink are invited to sign up for free via their website, CraftLink.co.
