Ceria Brewing Company Announces Supply Chain Partners

ARVADA, Colo. – CERIA Brewing Company, the Colorado craft brewery founded by Keith Villa, Ph.D., the former brewmaster of Blue Moon, has announced three key supply chain partners that have been essential for the company’s launch of Colorado’s first THC-infused craft beer. The company officially launched its Grainwave Belgian-style White Ale in mid-December.

Dr. Villa has selected two breweries – Sleeping Giant Brewing Company of Denver and O’Fallon Brewing of St. Louis – that will be responsible for brewing his proprietary formulation, and then running the brew through the dealcoholization process that is required for THC-infused beer.

Sleeping Giant Brewing Company is the first and largest dedicated contract brewery in the western U.S. It caters to the craft beer industry and offers quality brewing, state of the art technology, industry leading processes and expandable capacity along with a high level of customer service unique to the industry.

O’Fallon Brewing was founded in St. Louis in 2000 and has been a purveyor of fine craft beer since that time. The brewery has been producing dealcoholized beer using the same method required by CERIA for the past two years.

CERIA chose Keef Bottling as its manufacturing and distribution partner in Colorado. Keef Bottling’s state licensees will process and infuse CERIA beers with THC, and provide distribution to their network of legal dispensaries in Colorado.

Jodi Villa, CEO and co-founder of CERIA said, “We also plan to partner with Keef Bottling and its licensees in northern California and Nevada as our products are introduced to consumers in those markets by second quarter 2019 – there’s already strong anticipation for its availability at licensed dispensaries in those states.”

Keef Bottling develops, produces, and distributes multiple cannabis-infused products through its licensed distribution network in Colorado, California, Arizona, Nevada, Michigan, Puerto Rico, and Jamaica. Erik Knutson, CEO of Keef Brands, adds, “We plan and expect to have licensed manufacturing and distribution in all legalized states and are currently in active dialogue to make certain this comes to fruition.”

Founded in Boulder, Colo., Keef has been at the forefront of innovation around social cannabis product development and education since 2010.

Each 10-oz. (296 ml) serving of CERIA’s Grainwave will contain precise 5 mg doses of fast-acting THC with a similar onset time as alcohol.
