BOSTON, MA — Cambrian Innovation, provider of advanced biotechnology products for industrial businesses, announced today that Anu Shah joined the company as the new vice president of engineering. Drawing from more than three decades of experience in wastewater treatment and team management, Anu Shah will lead the engineering team and Cambrian’s rapid deployment of the EcoVolt product suite nationwide.
“Customers rely on Cambrian’s strong commitment to scientific expertise and deep understanding of technical challenges,” said Cambrian Innovation CEO Matthew Silver. “Anu has an unparalleled understanding of the wastewater industry and will be an invaluable asset to our growing engineering division.”
Anu comes to Cambrian from Summit Engineering, where he worked as the principal division manager for wastewater engineering projects. He led project development, process engineering and performance evaluation for small to medium-sized wineries like Sterling Vineyards and Clos du Bois as well as large-scale facilities like E. & J. Gallo Winery. Prior to Summit, Anu worked at LG Group (now URS Corporation) as water and wastewater manager, developing project plans for large municipalities such as the City of Dallas. Shah also spent eight years at Biothane during its startup phase, engineering innovative wastewater treatment plants using anaerobic and aerobic systems.
“From the technology I have seen throughout my career in wastewater treatment, Cambrian’s EcoVolt clearly stands out as the most innovative in the industry,” said Shah. “We have a great team here, and a unique opportunity to expand the reach of our products to food and beverage companies nationwide and even around the world.”
