SAN FRANCISCO, CA – As the first of its kind to launch in San Francisco, Blackbird’s latest venture and highly anticipated bar-arcade, Brewcade™ opened on December 10th. Brewcade™ will feature an assortment of 25 handcrafted beers, a selection of artisanal soda pop, 12-oz. frozen French-Italian Sparkling Slushie cocktails, a “Munchie Bar” with a selection of gourmet snacks, 24 vintage arcade game machines, and more. Kai Villegas (most recently of Monk’s Kettle) will lead the day-to-day operations as General Manager/Beer Guru alongside Co-Owner/Operating Partner, Shawn Vergara and Co-Owner/Business Manager, Tiffny Vergara Chung. Providing the Castro with another superb location for adults to play, Brewcade™ is sure to be San Francisco’s favorite new entertainment and date destination.

For those who are looking for an alternative to beer and wine, Brewcade™ will also offer a selection of carbonated, low-alcoholic beverages (courtesy of Matt Grippo and the Blackbird team) with a selection that may include a Winter White Sangria (White Aromatized Wine, Pear, Cinnamon, Anise), Coffee & Stout (Moylan’s Dry Irish Stout, Stumptown Cold Coffee Brew, Cardamaro, Bitter) and the Brewcade Aperitif (Bitter Orange Apertivo, Rubu Winter Port) for $9 each, as well as 12-oz. frozen French-Italian Sparkling Slushie cocktails for $10 each.

Brewcade™ is proud to provide an assortment of delicious non-alcoholic beverage options including bottled soda pop provided by The Fizzary, San Francisco Soda Shop for $3.50 each. As previously mentioned, Brewcade™ will showcase an exceptional “Munchie Bar” with tasty snacks ranging from $2-$5 and may include Carmel Corn – provided by CC MADE, Beef Jerky – provided by KRAVE, chips – provided by Route 11, 4505 Chicharones and Quicos Corn Nuts.
Brewcade™ is also proud to partner with neighboring business, Hi Tops, for an extended food menu that can be ordered online via www.hitopssf.com then brought into Brewcade™ to enjoy. Items from this menu will may include garlic fries, pretzels, corn dogs and chicken sandwiches. All food orders can be placed through ones’ mobile phone, whereby guests go to the Hi Topscashier after ordering and provide a name for pick up. Hi Tops is located just across the street from Brewcade™.
Design Details & Game List:
Brewcade™ features a sleek look made possible by C. Walters Design that is a minimalist approach with nods to the past. Specific design elements include: a life size magnetic board, colorful school-like stools, four, two-seater tables offered in a front patio for outdoor seating, a modern wall-mounted jukebox and a quarter machine for guests’ convenience (quarters are required to play the games.)
