Bell’s Brewery Expands Distribution in Pennsylvania

Bell’s Brewery today announced it will expand its distribution in Pennsylvania to include 15 additional counties in the north and central regions of the state.

The company has inked a distribution agreement with Durdach Brothers Inc. to sell its year-round and seasonal offerings throughout the 15-county footprint, beginning in March, 2014.

“This new partnership fills in a large portion of the state of Pennsylvania and we are thrilled to be able to offer our beer to fans in these additional counties,” Laura Bell, the brewery’s vice president said in a release.

The move comes just two days after the company said it would begin selling its beer in New York City with Union Beer Distributors — part of the L. Knife & Son group of wholesalers — next February. Bell’s tapped three other L. Knife & Son-owned companies (T.J. Sheehan Distributing, Tri-Valley Beverage and Craft Guild of New York) for distribution in Upstate New York last month.

Bell’s will also begin canning the popular Two Hearted and Oberon ales in April of next year.
