Bell’s to Expand Distribution to New York City

Bell's Brewery LogoBell’s Brewery is set to ring in the New Year with a Big Apple rollout.

The brewery, which is based out of Kalamazoo, Mich., has signed an agreement with Union Beer Distributors to bring most of its year-round offerings as well as its seasonal lineup to New York City and Long Island on February 10 of 2014.

The move comes on the heels of new distribution for Bell’s in western and upstate New York, which the company announced last month. Bell’s tapped three L. Knife & Son-owned companies (T.J. Sheehan Distributing, Tri-Valley Beverage and Craft Guild of New York) for distribution in those markets. Union Beer, part of the Sheehan Group, was acquired by L. Knife in 1996.

“The Sheehan Group has done an excellent job representing our brand and we are confident they will exceed expectations with New York City,” said Laura Bell, the brewery’s Vice President, in a press release.
