CHICAGO — Baderbr├ñu, Chicago’s Original Craft BeerÔäó, is excited to announce that its Chicago Pilsener will now be sold in 48 Noodles & Company locations across Chicagoland and Illinois, the fast casual restaurant where the world’s favorite noodle dishes, sandwiches, salads ands soups (and now Chicago’s Original Craft BeerÔäó) can be found under one roof.

“What an exciting time for our brand to be part of the offerings at an incredible fast casual restaurant, that I am also a huge fan of,” says Baderbr├ñu Founder, Rob Sama. “Noodles & Company offers dishes that are inspired by the individuality, creativity and cultural heritage from around the globe, along with their famous Wisconsin Mac & Cheese; our sessionable, bright, hop forward Chicago Pilsener will complement their meals very well.”

Baderbr├ñu’s varietal portfolio currently includes the original year-round flagship Chicago Pilsener, as well as limited edition seasonal expressions including Lawnmower Lager IPL and Red Velvet Bock (to be released for its second year winter 2015). About Baderbräu Brewing Company:

Originally Baderbr├ñu was brewed starting in 1989 by the Pavichevich Brewing Company of Elmhurst, IL which at its height produced more than 14,000 barrels of Baderbr├ñu annually. The highly regarded beer was sold into the top 250 Chicago area restaurants, hotels, clubs and bars at a time when the craft beer movement was in it’s infancy and only major domestic beers from Anheuser-Busch, Miller and Heileman were even available in Chicagoland. At it’s peak Baderbr├ñu was distributed across 12 states and sold in over 2,000 foodservice and retail establishments. Over the years, Baderbr├ñu won several major awards and was once regarded as the “best pilsener I’ve ever tasted in America” by acclaimed beer critic Michael Jackson. In 1998, as Pavichevich Brewing met with financial difficulties and closed, Goose Island acquired the rights to brew Baderbr├ñu and did so until 2002, when it decided to focus entirely on Goose Island branded products sunsetting the brand. In 2010, Rob Sama formed Baderbr├ñu Brewing Company. Armed with the original recipe and the assistance of original Baderbr├ñu Pilsener creator and master brewer, Douglas Babcook, Sama has resurrected a truly great Chicago original, reestablishing Baderbr├ñu Chicago Pilsener back to it’s former prominence. Baderbr├ñu Brewing Company features beers in the style east of the Rhine River and continues to develop their take on unique lager recipes to compliment the portfolio.
