Thousands of craft brewers from across the country will converge on San Diego next week for the 2012 Craft Brewers Conference, presented by the Brewers Association.
As one of the largest industry events for professional brewers, brewpubs and packaging breweries, CBC offers a wide-ranging spectrum of seminars and discussions aimed at providing brewers the chance to learn and enhance their craft.
This year’s event will be held at the San Diego Town & Country Resort (located at 500 Hotel Circle North). The Brewers Association is expecting 4,500 brewing industry professionals to attend over 100 different educational sessions. The event will also feature over 250 exhibitors at BrewExpo America, the largest trade show in the craft brewing industry.
CBC will officially begin with a welcome reception at the San Diego Zoo on Wednesday night from 6:00 – 9:00 p.m. The following morning, a keynote address from Brooklyn Brewery President and Co-Founder, Steve Hindy, will kick things off during the conference’s general session.
