Just when you thought you’ve tried every iteration of craft-brewed refreshment, Angel City Brewery introduces a surprising, way-old-school style to its lineup: Salted Caramel Gose (goes-uh). This unique beer is made with wheat and EuroPils and caramel malts, Hallertauer hops, vanilla, sea salt, caramel and lactose, and has 10 IBUs and an ABV of 4.3%. It will be for sale at the brewery’s retail store, as well as at select craft beer stores across LA.

Triton Brewing Company just released their first Gose, the Axl Gose. Originating in Goslar, Germany, early in the 16th Century, Gose is an unfiltered wheat ale with tart citrus flavors and a touch of salinity. True to style, Triton Brewing’s Axl Gose is brewed with orange peel, coriander and Himalayan Pink Salt, and is inoculated with lactobacillus bacteria after the boil to add sourness.

First Beverage Financial, the investment banking arm of First Beverage Group, announced that it acted as the financial advisor to Devils Backbone Brewing Company in its agreement to sell to The High End, the craft business unit of Anheuser-Busch. Terms of the transaction, which is expected to close in the second quarter of the year, were not disclosed.
