Catawba Brewing Collaborates with Dunkin’ Donuts on New ‘Dunkin’ Punkin Brown Ale’

In honor of National Coffee Day, Dunkin’ Donuts and Catawba Brewing Company partnered to create a cold-brew, pumpkin-flavored beer, utilizing the Dunkin’ ingredients everyone loves, so it oozes with authentic taste down to the last drop. Dunkin’ Punkin Brown Ale is the first-ever and only beer in the country to include original Dunkin’ Donuts flavoring ingredients.

City Star Brewing to Release Outlaw Imperial Stout in Bottles

The latest in the City Star Zoller Barrel Aged Series will be released in the City Star taproom on Saturday, October 21st, Outlaw. The 2017 vintage of this imperial stout was aged 14-18 months in Kentucky bourbon whiskey oak barrels and weighs in at 12.75% abv. Flavors of rich chocolate, toffee, dark dried fruit, oak, vanilla and of course American whiskey. A rich and creamy mouthfeel leaves you lingering for another pour.

Cascade Lakes Brewing Company Announces Fresh Hop Releases

Cascade Lakes Brewing Company today announced its Fall Fresh Hop releases: The first brew is Frog Water Fresh Hop IPA, a 100% local farm-to-bottle fresh hop beer. Cascade Lakes partnered with Discover Your Forest and the Forest Service to produce this seasonal beer that benefits the education, conservation, and restoration of Oregon spotted frog habitat.

Rogue Releases Pumpkin Patch Ale made with Fresh Gourds

Many pumpkin beers are released in mid-summer and use artificial, canned or puréed pumpkin. Rogue instead waits for the pumpkin harvest, which usually happens in late summer or early fall, and utilizes fresh Rogue Farms-grown pumpkins harvested at their peak ripeness. The pumpkins are handpicked and delivered 77 miles across the Oregon Coast Range to Rogue’s brewery in Newport, where they are then toasted in a pizza oven and tossed into the brew. Pumpkin Patch Ale is handmade from patch to batch and hits the shelves just in time for fall.

Pabst Hires New CMO, Reshapes Role

The executive shuffle at Pabst Brewing Company continued on Thursday, as the company announced the appointment of a new chief marketing officer to oversee its entire portfolio of heritage, craft, import, cider and flavored malt beverage brands. Matt Bruhn, who most recently served as the CMO for GWA Group Limited, an Australian supplier of building fixtures and fittings, will formally take over as the CMO of Pabst on October 2, according to a press release.
