Due to popular demand, brewers at Pyramid Breweries have brought back a liquid that is sure to surprise and impress craft beer enthusiasts.

After 21 years of piecing together 6- and 8-car-garages in an industrial alley off Arapahoe Avenue, Founder and CEO Adam Avery was more than ready to build his dream brewery. In February, Avery opened the doors of his 67,000 sq. ft., $30 million brewery filled with the best brewing equipment available, including four new 850 hl fermentation tanks that nearly doubled the brewery’s capacity.

Far From the Tree is expanding its reach. The Salem-based cider house has announced a partnership with Massachusetts Beverage Alliance to accommodate its steady growth rate and ability to offer its small batch, traditional, craft hard cider to consumers throughout the state.

The story goes like this: Once upon a time there was a brewery in Newburyport, MA by the name of ‘Ould Newbury Brewing Company.’ It was a small brewery started by the husband & wife team, Joe and Pam Rolfe. They were among a group of breweries that began popping up in the early 90’s. Sadly, the brewery didn’t survive the economic downturn of the late nineties. Joe Rolfe ended up befriending Riverwalk Principle & Head Brewer – Steve Sanderson. In a gesture of friendship, Mr.Rolfe donated his brewing items to Steve and Riverwalk. Included in the items were recipe sheets for the Ould Newbury Brewing flagship ‘Yankee Ale’.

Founders Brewing Co. today announced it would introduce Spectra Trifecta, brewed in the traditional Kolsch style, this September. Proceeds from the sale of this new beer will benefit ArtPrize, the world’s largest art competition that takes place annually in Grand Rapids, Mich.
