The answer to Stony Creek Brewery’s next distribution move was parked in the lot outside of its Branford, Connecticut, tasting room. There, the license plates pointed north.

With their most innovative product to date, Stony Creek Brewery has released Stony Joe Golden Mocha Stout featuring locally roasted coffee and cacao nibs.

Stony Creek Brewery is pleased to announce plans to expand distribution into Massachusetts. The Connecticut based brewery will be available in greater Boston and shoreline MA in March via Horizon Beverage. Full statewide coverage will commence in April through the addition of Quality Beverage, Williams Distributing and Girardi Distributors.

Recently reborn as an “aggressively laid-back” beer company, Stony Creek Brewery is living up to the tagline by quietly scaling production to more than 10,000 barrels during its first 12 months since taking up residence in a newly constructed Branford, Conn. brewing facility. Originally formed in 2010 by Manny Rodriguez and Peggy Crowley, the wife of former Dichello Distributors co-owner Ed Crowley, Stony Creek first launched as a contract-produced craft brand focused on beers named after regional area codes.
