New Trail Brewing (Williamsport, Pennsylvania) has expanded distribution to Western New York via Wright Beverage, marking its sixth state. Dedicated gluten-free craft brewery Holidaily Brewing (Golden, Colorado) has entered the Utah market with Salt Lake City-based General Distributing and Ogden-based Wasatch Distributing, both Anheuser-Busch InBev-aligned houses.

Despite recent headwinds, craft beer continues to have the largest share of beer sales at Total Wine & More stores. But “it won’t stay that way” if industry trends continue, according to the chain retailer’s senior director, merchandising, Andrea Starr.

While Colorado remains one the largest and most developed craft beer markets, its breweries have struggled to bring back their draft beer business post-pandemic. Many breweries, wholesalers and retailers alike have focused their attention on combating off-premise declines, but “as a beer community, we’ve got to fight for draft,” Holidaily Brewing founder Karen Hertz said on stage in Denver last month during Brewbound’s Brew Talks meetup.

This Fall will mark the arrival of a first-of-its-kind gluten-free craft brewery and restaurant duo in the country.

Golden, Colorado based brewery, Holidaily Brewing Company, distributes their beers to several states across the U.S., but this week they sent beer on its farthest voyage yet – all the way to Germany.
