Break out your steins: It’s almost fall, and that means  the return of DC Brau’s popular German-style offering – Oktoberfest, a malt-forward amber lager that’s available once a year, and only for a limited time.

DC Brau Brings Back Incurable Sadness: Irish Dry Stout and The Legislator: Barrel Aged Doppelbock

To start, the brewery is paying tribute to its inaugural beer with a special series of The Public. Each month, the brew team will experiment with the original recipe, substituting the singular hop variety from month to month throughout the year.

DC Brau is adding a new hoppy ale to its award-winning line-up of flagship craft beer this month with The Imperial, a hybrid Double IPA that crosses a New England-style Hazy IPA and a filtered American IPA for a unique drinking experience. The Imperial enters the market starting January 27th via the brewery’s online store and retail distribution. 

DC Brau is excited to release the first in a new series of barrel-aged sours under the HARMONIOUS FUNK label at the brewery.

The summer of 2020 will long be remembered for a lot of things — not all especially fondly — but Washington’s DC Brau Brewing and South Jersey’s Cape May Brewing Co. hope to make it all a little rosier with the joint release of their re-collaboration of ROSÉ DU GOSÉ. 

Employees at Anchor Brewing ratified a three-year contract with the International Longshore and Warehouse Union (ILWU), Local 6 earlier this month, a first for the San Francisco-based brewery. D.C. Brau raised $614,335 from 12 investors during a recent equity raise, according to a December 19 U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission filing. Columbus, Indiana-based 450 North Brewing Company has posted an apology on its social media accounts for selling its Slushy line of beers with the incorrect alcohol by volume.

Fans of hard seltzer will be able to demand transparency and drink local this holiday season! DC Brau Brewing, Washington DC’s premier brewery, is expanding its beverage offerings with the introduction of a full line of hard seltzers under the FULL TRANSPARENCY brand. All four flavors of the new seltzers will be available in 12 ounce cans starting this Saturday, November 16th at the brewery with wider distribution rolling out later this month.

DC Brau is thrilled to announce it is continuing its partnership with Jameson Caskmates as a part of the distillery’s Drinking Buddies program for a second year in a row.

Specially-branded PRIDE PILS cans will be available in the DMV and select markets starting in late May to coincide with the start of Capital PRIDE.

DC Brau is pleased to introduce its new sales team including Stephen Carnes as head of sales and Stephen Taylor, sales manager for the Maryland and Virginia region. Kayleigh Tanthorey remains as the brewery’s business development manager.

Massachusetts Beverage Alliance (MBA) today announced the official launch of Homegrown Distribution, a boutique wholesaler focused on overlooked craft brands not currently getting enough attention from a network of five pre-existing wholesale partners across the state. As an offshoot of MBA, Homegrown Distribution will assume statewide sales and delivery responsibilities for several brands.
