Fifty years of Durango’s Iron Horse Bicycle Classic calls for an aptly named beer with a boost.

In partnership with the VGH & UBC Hospital Foundation, Steamworks Brewing Company is proud to announce the release of 7 O’clock Cheer Pale Ale, inspired by the city’s unwavering show of support for frontline workers every evening at 7 p.m.

Steamworks’ aptly named Steam Beer is the first of four 25th Anniversary brews coming to BC’s craft beer community this year along with a line of limited-edition merchandise adorning the brand’s original logo.

“Drink Different” has been the motto at Steamworks Brewing Company, and now “Drive Different” is equally true, with the addition of two new “steam machines” to their driving fleet.

With ski season underway, Steamworks Brewing Co. will expand its special monthly “firkin” tapping beyond the brewpub, adding Firkin Fridays at Purgatory Resort during the season. The December firkin featured at Steamworks and on the mountain is the “Spruced Stout,” to be tapped Friday, Dec. 2, 2016.

Steamworks Brewing Co. continues with its special monthly “firkin” tapping Friday, Dec. 4, 2015, featuring a specialty beer in the spirit of a British Yuletide treat: Figgy Pudding.

A Steamworks version of a Belgian Kriek – dubbed “Super Kriek” – will be tapped at Steamworks Brewing Co. at 3 p.m., Friday, Oct. 2, 2015, for Firkin Friday, Steamworks’ monthly showcase of unique hand-crafted beers.
