Barrel House Z Releases Second Batch of Bamboozled By Hops

WEYMOUTH, Mass. — Barrel House Z is launching the second release in its rotating-hops IPA series dubbed Bamboozled By Hops. With so many varieties of hops available, Brewer Chris Dion is more than happy to experiment – and craft beer lovers are thrilled to find out where his experimentation will take them.

Bamboozled By Hops can be found in select accounts on the North Shore, South Shore, South Coast, Cape Cod & Islands and Central & Western Massachusetts as well as Rhode Island. The IPA will be available in 4-packs of 16 oz. cans and on draft. Hop selection for each batch is printed on the bottom of the can.

The IPA’s ABV remains steady at 6% and Bamboozled By Hops is brewed with the same malt base and kettle hops: Apollo & Cascade. At the heart of Bamboozled By Hops, IPA lovers will discover a love of New England-style IPAs with distinct juiciness, as well as West Coast-style bitterness.

Experimentation occurs in the dry-hopping to ensure aroma and flavor without excessive bitterness. The second batch of Bamboozled By Hops IPA is dry hopped with Huell Melon, Citra, and Mandarina. Batch #2 has a fresh, hazy, deep copper color. Flavor notes include strawberry & melon with big citrus for balanced bitterness.
