Oskar Blues, the Longmont, Colo.-based craft brewery — which got its start as a brewpub and currently operates a number of restaurant operations throughout the Centennial State — today announced it will expand its “craft casual” CHUBurger concept to nearby Coors Field, the home of Major League Baseball’s Colorado Rockies.

CHUBurger, the grass-fed twist on the traditional ‘fast casual’ burger joint concept, is owned Oskar Blues founder Dale Katechis, who opened the first location in Longmont, Colo. earlier this year. The Coors field location will feature craft and bottle beer selections and locally sourced animal products from the Hops & Heifers farm, which is also owned by Katechis.

In this video, Oskar Blues marketing director, Chad Melis, shared additional details about the new partnership and new expansion opportunities with the CHUBurger brand.

About CHUBurger:

CHUBurger was founded in 2013 by Oskar Blues’ restaurant team executive chef Jason Rogers and general manager Anita Gray. The restaurant completes the sustainable farm-to-beer-to-table lifecycle of Oskar Blues. Spent grain outflows from the brewery are used as supplemental feed at the Hops and Heifers Farm, allowing the farm to provide fresh ingredients right to the tables of each Oskar Blues restaurant. Around here, we don’t do things fast casual, we do craft casual. That means burgers that go against the ordinary, made fast, with an emphasis on quality from our farm fresh ingredients, to the hand-crafted beers on tap. Fast. Craft. Casual.
