Ninkasi to Expand Distribution Throughout Nevada

NinkasiNinkasi Brewing will expand distribution throughout Nevada beginning next month, per new agreements with five distributorships in the state.

The brewery, which is based in Eugene, Ore., has tapped Blach Distributing Co., Capital Beverages, Nevada Beverage Company, Morrey Distributing Co., and Valley Distributors to stock the state’s shelves and tap lines with its lineup of 12 and 22 oz. bottles, draft beers and limited releases.

“We are excited to be entering Nevada,” said Nikos Ride, CEO and co-founder of Ninkasi, in a press release. “With a growing and thriving craft beer scene, we feel there are great opportunities in the state now and into the future.”

Earlier this month, the brewery announced it was officially operational in its second facility, tacking on 70,000 barrels to its capacity. The new brewery gives Ninkasi the ability to grow to a 250,000-barrel per year brewery.

Nevada will be the brewery’s seventh market. Its current distribution footprint includes its home state of Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Montana, Alaska, and Vancouver, B.C.

EUGENE, Ore.—Starting May 5, 2014, craft beer fans will be able to find Ninkasi Brewing Company offerings on the shelves and in retailers throughout Nevada. In partnership with five Nevada distributorships, the brewery plans to offer its 12 and 22-ounce line-up, draft beers and limited releases to Nevada next month.

Ninkasi has signed agreements with five distributorships to deliver its high-quality craft beers throughout Nevada. These distributors and their territories include:

  • Blach Distributing Co. — Elko and surrounding areas
  • Capital Beverages — Douglas and Lyon County, including Carson City
  • Nevada Beverage Company – Las Vegas and surrounding areas
  • Morrey Distributing Co.— Washoe County, including Reno
  • Valley Distributors — Churchill and Mineral County, including Fallon
