Larkspur, CA. — Marin Brewing Company recently took home multiple awards at this year’s California State Fair Craft Beer Competition including golds for their Platypus Venom Imperial Stoutin the Spice/Herb category, and their Bluebeery Ale in the Fruit Beer category.
Marin Brewing Company also took home two silvers for their Dipsea Triple in the Belgian Strong Ale category and for Hoppy Holidaze in the Winter/Xmas Beer category.
The California State Fair Craft Beer Competition includes nearly 700 entries from over 83 of the best breweries in California. A panel of over 40 beer experts from all over the state judged the competition with blind tastings organized by style and classification.
Co-founder of Marin Brewing Company, Brendan Moylan, was ecstatic about the recent wins, commenting, “It is always great to be recognized for our artisan beers. Marin Brewing Company will be pouring their 1st place Bluebeery Ale and several other Marin brews at the California State Fair Beerfest and Awards Ceremony this Saturday, July 20th.
