Full Sail Brewing Releases Dry-Hopped Pale Ale

Hood River, Oregon — Full Sail Brewing is proud to be one of the 69 craft brewers across the country that has joined the Ales for ALSÔäó campaign in support of the ALS Therapy Development Institute’s (ALS TDI) mission to discover and develop effective treatments for ALS, also known as Lou Gehrig’s disease. As part of the program, participating brewers receive a special blend of experimental hops donated by B.T. Loftus Ranches and HopUnion. From these hops each participating brewery brewed a unique beer and will donate a portion of the sales to ALS TDI. As part of Full Sail Brewing’s participation in Ales for ALS, they have released a limited-time beer called “Full Sail Ales for ALS Dry-Hopped Pale Ale.”

“We are honored to work with our friends at Loftus Farms to support ALS research, and will donate a portion of every sale to the ALS Therapy Development Institute. Loftus grows some beautiful hops, and they put together a blend of experimental varieties for us to create a beer for their “Ales for ALS” program. This copper hued Pale Ale has just enough malt presence to provide support for the bitterness and big hop aroma. Our taste panel called out the aroma with peach and tropical fruit complimented by some fresh herbs (i.e. dill and Thai basil). Complex and delicious, join the exploration of experimental hops and support a great cause,” said Barney Brennan, Full Sail Brewing Company’s Brewing Supervisor. For the months of June and July, Ales for ALS Dry-Hopped Pale will be available exclusively on tap at Full Sail’s Brew Pub in Hood River, Oregon, while supplies last. (5.8% ABV, 58 IBU)
