Florida Beer Company Wins Bronze At GABF

MELBOURNE, FL Florida Beer Company recently claimed a Bronze Medal at the 2012 Great American Beer Festival competition, the largest national beer competition that recognizes the most outstanding beers produced in the United States. The top three winners in the competition’s 84 beer-style categories were announced in mid-October at the Great American Beer Festival awards ceremony held at the Colorado Convention Center in Denver, Colorado.

The Florida Beer Company’s Hurricane Reef Pale Ale received a Bronze Medal in the English-Style Pale Ale category. Winners in 84 different categories were selected by an international panel of 185 expert judges from a record number of 4,338 beer entries received from 666 U.S. Breweries. Earlier this year, Hurricane Reef Pale Ale took home a Gold Medal in the English-Style Pale Ale Category at the 2012 U.S. Open Beer Championship.
