MUKILTEO, WA – The days are getting shorter and the rains are returning, which means that it is time for Diamond Knot Brewing Company’s much-anticipated release of their Ho!Ho! Winter Ale.
Starting in October, this Northwest-style winter warmer will be available on draft and in 22-oz bottles at retailers throughout the Pacific Northwest and nationally through Total Wine & More.Pat Ringe, Diamond Knot’s Head Brewer, says the Ho!Ho! makes a great addition to the seasonal line-up and is the perfect introduction to the winter months.
“The turning of the seasons sparks the occasion to change things up, our Ho! Ho! Winter Ale does exactly that. The Ho!Ho! is my personal favorite of all Diamond Knot Beers; it’s the first one I really took under my wing and made it my own many years ago.”
Its bold, complex flavors make it a great beer to celebrate the winter season or to enjoy sitting by the fire. It perfectly complements the rich, hearty foods of the season such as roasted beef or spicy Szechuan dishes.
The Ho!Ho! is a robust ‘winter warmer’ ale, ruby brown in color with a slightly sweet, fruity nose. Very hoppy, yet well balanced with a sturdy malt foundation. Ho!Ho! Winter Ale has an alcohol by volume (ABV) of 8.5 percent, and 60 international bittering units (IBUs).
Diamond Knot bottles several other styles year around, including India Pale Ale, Industrial IPA and Brown Ale. Additionally they offer four seasonal beers in bottles: Slane’s Irish-style Red Ale, Blonde Ale and Vienna Ale, as well as several draft only beers.
