PORTLAND, Maine — The Maine Brew Bus is pleased to announce a very special tour on Saturday February 15th. “The New Maine Breweries Tour” will showcase Banded Horn Brewing in Biddeford, and Austin Street Brewery, Foundation Brewing Company, and Bissell Brothers Brewery all in Portland.
A very special Guest Guide will be on “Lenny The Bus” that day, noted beer journalist and author Josh Bernstein from New York City. He wrote the popular book Brewed Awakening, and released his latest book The Complete Beer Course late last year. He also personally leads walking homebrew tours in NYC, bringing guests into the personal breweries tucked into private residences in the city.
The tour will begin and end at Rising Tide Brewing Co. 103 Fox St. in Portland and will run from 10:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Each ticket is priced at $75, and will include samples and tour at each stop, transportation, lunch, gratuities, and trivia.
All participants on the tour will also receive a personally autographed copy of The Complete Beer Course (a $25 value) courtesy of The Maine Brew Bus, LLC.
After the tour, Mr. Bernstein will be conducting a signing session of his book The Complete Beer Course at Rising Tide from 3-5pm. This event is open to the public.
