Anheuser-Busch InBev Shuffles Global Management

The world’s largest brewer today announced a set of global management changes, scheduled to take effect on Jan. 1, 2015.

Anheuser-Busch InBev said it will transition current North America zone president, Luiz Edmond, into a global role as Chief Sales Officer. Taking over for Edmond will be current Latin America zone president, João Castro Neves.

Edmond has held his current position as North American president since November, 2008, when InBev acquired Saint Louis, Mo.-based Anheuser-Busch for $52 billion. Edmond began his career in the beer business with Brahma, which later became Ambev, in 1990.

Bernaro Pinto Paiva, A-B InBev’s current chief sales officer, will take over for Neves as zone president Latin America, a position he has held since 2009.
