FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Anniversary Cider earns gold and Huckleberry Cosmic Crisp® takes bronze, highlighting 2 Towns' craft from Old World tradition to New World innovation in one of the festival's most competitive cider categories.
CORVALLIS, Ore. — Oct. 16 2025 — 2 Towns Ciderhouse is raising a glass after earning two medals at the 2025 Great American Beer Festival (GABF), the nation's largest professional beer competition.
The Corvallis-based cidery took home Gold in the No/Low-Tannin Cider category for its 14th Anniversary Cider, an annual small-batch release crafted from heirloom apple varieties in a traditional style that celebrates the art of classic cidermaking. 2 Towns also earned Bronze in the Fruited Cider category for Huckleberry Cosmic Crisp®, the newest addition to its celebrated Cosmic Crisp® Imperial lineup, which pairs Northwest huckleberries with Washington-grown Cosmic Crisp® apples.
"These medals are particularly meaningful because they showcase the depth and diversity of American cider," said Aaron Sarnoff-Wood, co-founder and chief sales and marketing officer at 2 Towns Ciderhouse. "Our Anniversary Cider is something we pour our hearts into every year—it's rooted in tradition, while Huckleberry Cosmic Crisp® captures the creative side of what we love to do. Together, they tell the full story of our craft."
Hosted by the Brewers Association, the Great American Beer Festival is the largest professional beer and cider competition in the United States. This year's judging featured 8,315 entries from 1,555 breweries and cideries across all 50 states and Washington, D.C., with a panel of 250 industry experts awarding 347 medals across beer and cider categories.
2 Towns Ciderhouse was among 29 Oregon breweries and cideries to medal in 2025, underscoring the state's continued leadership in craft fermentation.
