ATLANTA – Steady Hand Beer Co., one of Atlanta’s newest breweries on the scene, released its first line of cans now available to the Atlanta market. The brewery’s first canned beer coincides with the unveiling of its latest brew, Flower Business Double IPA, and will begin canning its flagship beers, Paradise Waits IPA and Georgia Farmhouse Ale, in November as well as its first bottled beer, a seasonal Fall Farmhouse brewed with sweet potato.
“We are thrilled for our cans to hit shelves around the city, making our beers more accessible to a wider market,” said Kevin Sullivan, co-founder of Steady Hand. “We hope the release of Flower Business Double IPA will get the community excited about what’s to come from Steady Hand and look forward to our brewery’s continued expansion in the coming months.”
Designed in collaboration with Sullivan, artist Phil Lewis and Anthem Branding, Flower Business Double IPA’s can emits psychedelic vibes with an intricate bright blue and green design. According to Sullivan jokingly, the inspiration for the name and the design is a bit esoteric and up for interpretation, but “if you know, you know.” The beer’s tasting notes complement the eye-catching can: the 9 percent ABV double IPA is hazy orange in color with a bright, juicy hop flavor, including notes of freshly-squeezed citrus, tropical fruit, sweet peach and subtle pine. The brew pairs well with many types of foods, but is best accompanied by a good time.
Steady Hand’s Flower Business Double IPA cans are available for purchase across metro Atlanta at Total Wine outlets, Green’s, both Hop City locations, Ale Yeah, Tower Beer, Wine & Spirits, Dekalb Farmers Market, Corks and Caps, Sprayberry Bottle Shoppe and more. The brew is also available on draft in bars and restaurants across the city including Leon’s Full Service, Moxie Burger, The Whelan, and Moondog Growlers.
