Smuttynose Brewing Announces Return of ‘Big A IPA’

Smuttynose Brewing today announced the return of its Big A IPA and the debut of a new ‘Big Beer’ series offering, Zinneke.

Big A IPA, formally a year-round offering, was discontinued in April and moved into the company’s rotational lineup. Smuttynose will now only brew 100 barrels of the beer a month, until January, and distribute a limited amount of 12 oz. four packs and draught throughout its 19-state distribution footprint. Big A checks in at 9.7 percent ABV and 120 IBU’s.

Also being released this month is Zinneke, a Belgian-style stout, partially aged in bourbon barrels. Only 200 barrels if the limited edition brew were made and extremely limited quantities of draught and 22 oz. ‘bombers’ will be made available everywhere Smuttynose beers are sold.
