Kutztown, PA — Saucony Creek Brewing Co. officially announces the official news that their beers areofficially available in Massachusetts and Rhode Island. The Pennsylvania based brewery, founded by former action sports athlete and X Games star Matt Lindenmuth, has had a busy fall. In late September they started off with a bang, by winning the prestigious GABF Gold Medal, in the Belgian-Style Fruit Beer Category. Around the same time, they began planning their release into the lower New England states with their distribution partner, Atlantic Importing & Distributing Co. of Framingham, MA, over some beers of course. Both partners looking forward to bring the award winning Saucony Creek beers to these public markets for the first time.

Saucony Creek’s journey to Massachusetts all began last spring when Saucony Shoes of Lexington, MA approached Saucony Creek Brewing Co. to have the namesake beer during celebratory Boston Marathon festivities. Both Saucony shoes, and Saucony Creek Brewing Co. are named after the creek that runs through the small town of Kutztown, PA, where both companies were founded. In 2013, Saucony Creek Brewing Co. first opened alongside the creek in what was known as the original Saucony shoe building.

Saucony Creek and Atlantic will be introducing a nice portfolio of craft beers to the market, including the 2015 GABF Gold Medal winner, the xReserve Peach & Ginger Saison. Other beers include: Hop Suplex, an Imperial IPA; Maple Mistress, an Imperial Spiced Ale; and Hexerei White, a Traditional White Ale, just to name a few. “After spending a week visiting some solid craft beer bars in the greater Boston area we quickly learned that New Englanders like to drink good beer, and won’t settle for anything less. At Saucony Creek, we couldn’t agree more. We left feeling very excited about the new opportunities with our friends up North, and promise not to disappoint.” said Matt Lindenmuth, Founder & President at Saucony Creek Brewing Co.
