SanTan Brewing Opens Phoenix Location

PHOENIX, Ariz. – Founded in 2007, SanTan Brewing Company is opening our new location in Uptown Phoenix today. Located on the SW corner of Bethany Home Road & 16th Street, SanTan’s second brewpub will continue the mission of pairing our craft beers with craft food, to inspire great conversations that could change the world.

“SanTan Brewing is excited to officially announce our second home is up and running in the BethanyEast neighborhood,” notes Anthony Canecchia, Founder and Brewmaster, “bringing the spirit of SanTan, that our fans have come to love, as an Arizona owned, Arizona brewed company.

SanTan Brewing’s uptown location will implement its popular Chandler menu, featuring pub-styled food with a Southwestern flair. Classics like the award-winning Ricky Ricardo sandwich, Brewer’s Mac andCheese, tacos, burgers, pizza and of course, SanTan’s handcrafted beers. A small brew system will be installed over the coming months, which will handle the volume needed for the brewpub, along with allowing the brew team to create beers unique to thePhoenix location.

Along with our own beers, SanTan’s tap lineup will also include Arizona wines, a margarita made with Roger Clyne’s Mexican Moonshine tequila, and Peixoto’s cold brew coffee.

About SanTan Brewing Company

In 2007, SanTan Brewing Company opened the doors of its original brewpub, located in the heart of Historic Downtown Chandler. Founder and Brewmaster Anthony Canecchia’s mission of pairing craft beer with craft food, to inspire great conversation and good times, still stands true today for Arizona’s largest craft brewery.

SanTan Brewing has been an active leader of the “craft can revolution” and stayed committed to the rapidly growing vessel, since the brewery began packaging in 2009. The quality of its brands is protected by exclusively packaging in 12-ounce and 24-ounce cans for retail, along with 32-ounce cans available to be filled on demand at the brewpubs.

Over the years, SanTan Brewing has won numerous national and local awards, medaling at the 2016 World Beer Cup, 2012 US Open Beer Championships, and 2011 Great American Beer Festival, while also making occasional appearances in the Phoenix New Times annual “Best Of” publication.

In addition to brewing, SanTan features a friendly neighborhood brewpub located in Historic Downtown Chandler, which has quickly become one of the top local food and beer destinations in the PhoenixMetropolitan Area. In December 2017, SanTan announced its plans to open a second brewpub location in Uptown Phoenix at Bethany Station, on the corner of Bethany Home Rd & 16th Street.
