Samuel Adams Salutes the Troops with New Holiday Program

BOSTON — Samuel Adams is proud to announce our “Salute the Troops with Samuel Adams” holiday program to support our country’s service men and women. In the spirit of patriotism, Samuel Adams will support the United Service Organization’s (USO) mission of making the season brighter for our men and women in uniform and their families.

From November 1st to December 31st 2013, Samuel Adams invites drinkers to send an online holiday greeting to service members via Pintley, an online craft beer community that connects drinkers, brewers and bars. For each greeting sent, Samuel Adams will donate $1.00 (up to $10,000) to help the USO continue the services and programs that support our troops. To send a greeting, drinkers can scan our “Salute the Troops” QR code found at hundreds of retail locations nationwide including airport brewpubs, select military exchanges, convenience stores and our Samuel Adams Boston Brewery, or drinkers can go to m.pintley.com/salute to send a holiday greeting, which will also post to users Facebook page.

The Samuel Adams Boston Brewery also invites active and veteran service men and women to our “Military Appreciation Open House” on Tuesday November 19, 2013. To thank our troops for their service, the brewery will host a night just for them with specialty beers on tap, tours of the brewhouse, light fare and a chance to win memorabilia signed by Jim Koch, Samuel Adams’ brewer and founder. Non-military guests must be accompanied by active or retired service personnel with a military ID. All guests must be 21+.
