Mifflinburg, PA – As the air turns cooler and days become shorter, cozying up next to the fire with a smooth and rich winter beer sounds like the perfect ending to any day. With that in mind, Rusty Rail Brewing Co. recently released its winter seasonal, Snow Flyer H.C. Porter.

A rich and full-bodied porter brewed with natural hazelnut and cacao, Snow Flyer marks the brewery’s third seasonal release. As with other seasonal brews from Rusty Rail Brewing Co., Snow Flyer is available for purchase in the company’s universal 12-pack design, which holds two 6-packs. Beer lovers can find Snow Flyer in beer distributors, grocery stores and bottle shops across Pennsylvania and New Jersey.

“We’ve noticed a need in the market for seasonal brews that encompass the feeling of a season, but offer a unique style,” explains Guy McCarty, brewery manager. “Just like we chose to steer clear of a traditional Oktoberfest or pumpkin beer for the fall, we chose not to create another winter warmer or overly spiced seasonal for winter.”

Snow Flyer is the third installment in the Rusty Rail Brewing Co. seasonal release schedule. The brew follows Blue Collar Raspberry Blonde (summer) and NOKtoberfest Blood Orange Rye (fall). After Snow Flyer H.C. Porter, with an early spring release, will be Swing Tree White IPA with Apricot. “As a brewery, our goal is to deliver a yin and yang of traditional/session-able brews and innovative styles that hold true to our motto of brewing bolding in the heart of Pennsylvania,” remarks McCarty.
