NEWBURYPORT, MA – Riverwalk Brewing Co. will dramatically expand distribution efforts by signing with Craft Brewers Guild in Everett, MA. Their portfolio includes many of the top imported and domestic craft breweries in the world.

“This was a critical decision for us,” says owner Steve Sanderson. “We have a company culture that is extremely independent and focused on quality, so finding a partner with the same values was important. Our decision to partner with Craft will allow us increase our distribution range, maintain quality, and focus on creating more great beers.”

Riverwalk beers had been available in Northeastern Massachusetts and the Greater Boston area through self-distribution in both 16.9 oz bottles and on draft. The partnership with Craft will increase potential distribution to cover most of Massachusetts.

“Craft has experience with breweries large and small, and works with some of the brands that we respect the most,” says Sanderson. “After many months of discussion, it just seemed like a natural fit.”

Riverwalk Brewing will continue to self-distribute in the North Shore region, servicing territory in the brewery’s immediate vicinity. The brewery has no plans to increase distribution beyond the state of Massachusetts at this time.

As the largest distributor in the state, Craft Brewers Guild services Massachusetts from Boston to the New York border with an extensive portfolio of international, national, regional, and local craft beer brands. Passionate and knowledgeable about the product, all employees are Cicerone trained and certified. As a company, the Craft Brewers Guild is dedicated to supporting the community in which it resides through charitable donations and involvement with organizations including: the Connolly Center of Everett, MGH Hospital, Camp Harbor View, and the Dana Farber Cancer Institute through the James Joyce Ramble 10K.
