Newburyport, MA — RiverWalk Brewing Co. unveiled plans for a new 20,000 sq. ft. brewery and taproom slated to open this summer.
The brand-new Newburyport, MA location will provide customers with the full brewery experience, serving flights and pints of their worldly craft beers. A 3,000 sq. ft. taproom will feature 12 taps lines, an outdoor biergarten and an event space.
Another benefit of the new facility is increased production, up to 10 times their current output. The significant boost in variety and availability will allow RiverWalk Brewing Co. to expand their reach throughout Massachusetts.
Even with all the growth, RiverWalk Brewing Co. founders Steve and Betsy Sanderson stressed the importance of staying local, “We love the community we’re in and they have been supportive. We wanted to stay here. We had options and offers from other places but we found a location that will be perfect for our new space.”
And from initial reactions, the local community is ecstatic about the move, “They’re doing it right, and we’re behind them 100%!” exclaimed one customer during the event.
