PITTSBURGH — Rivertowne Brewing, an independent craft brewery located just outside of Pittsburgh in neighboring Murrysville/Export and Zeke’s Coffee Pittsburgh announce the release of their cold-brewed, coffee-fueled collaboration – Zeke’s Coffee Brown Ale.
Zeke’s Coffee Brown Ale, a light-to-medium-bodied brown ale, is scheduled for release on Wednesday, August 29, 2018 across PA and NC. The limited release will initially be made available on draft with 12 oz six pack cans to follow immediately afterward.
“After some lengthy delays resulting from packaging shortages on the part of our previous can supplier, we are excited to finally unleash Zeke’s Coffee Brown Ale on our fans,” said VP of Sales & Marketing at Rivertowne Brewing, Rob Johnson. “Our friends at Zeke’s Coffee Pittsburgh brewed up an 18-gallon batch of high-octane, cold brewed coffee for us to add to the conditioning phase of this brew. The Brazil Cerrado beans that were used to make the cold brew produce a wonderful nutty chocolate finish and partner perfectly in this brown ale. We invite fans of coffee and brown ale alike to snag a six pack or two and fuel up. It’s Go Time!”

Unlike a coffee stout or porter where at times it may seem like you’re eating cake from a glass, the Zeke’s Coffee Brown Ale drinks more like a refreshing glass of iced coffee, smooth and delicious and not too heavy. These may be a little too delicious for us to keep around the shop at all times…they go down easy and while we like to have some fun, there’s work to get done over here!
