River North Brewery Takes Top Honors in Oregon Competition

Denver, CO. — River North Brewery has been named Brewery of the Year for 2015 in the Best of Craft Beer Awards, earning medals in five categories.

River North was awarded the following accolades en route to its overall title:

  • Gold for J. Marie in Bière de Garde
  • Gold for Quandary in Belgian Dark Strong Ale
  • Gold for River North Tripel in Belgian Golden Strong Ale
  • Silver for River North IPA in Specialty/Hybrid Beer
  •  Bronze for River North White in Witbier

“I am very humbled that we received this reward,” Founder and Head Brewer Matt Hess said. “We just brew what we like to drink, so I’m glad to see that the judges like it too.”

Award-winners River North White, J. Marie, Quandary and River North IPA can be found on shelves and taps throughout Colorado and Kansas. In Missouri, the brewery distributes to the Kansas City area.

River North Tripel, brewed only once in 2014, will return in 2015 as a spring and summer seasonal.
