River North Brewery to Release Mountain Haze Cans Year-Round

DENVER — After more than a year in development, River North Brewery will unveil the newest addition to its canned offerings this Saturday, March 10th.

Mountain Haze, a New England-style IPA, will debut in 12-ounce six-packs for the first time, with a kickoff party starting at Noon in the brewery’s Denver taproom. Starting next week, Mountain Haze will be available year-round, joining perennial favorites like Colorado IPA, Pils, River NorthWhite and FarmHouse. These five together make up the brewery’s #AdventureFuellineup – independently brewed, ready-for-anything cans only available in Colorado.

Brewed with barley, wheat and oats, Mountain Haze utilizes an avalanche of Citra hops late in the brewing process, delivering a juicy and floral brew with a restrained bitterness. Dry-hopped with more than double the hops of any other River North beer, this nouveau take on the style now gives River North a canned IPA on each end of the spectrum.

”We brewed half a dozen batches for the taproom to refine our recipe and technique for this beer,” said founder Matt Hess. “It has already become a go-to favorite for our crew, friends, and regulars, and we’re excited to now offer it to all of Colorado.”

River North will have Mountain Haze on tap and in six-packs to-go ($12 each) when the doors open at Noon on Saturday. To ensure the freshest beer possible, the brewery will can Mountain Haze only 24 hours before the release. On Monday, six-packs will start shipping to liquor stores across Colorado, though the brewery does expect this initial batch to sell out quickly.

As independent Denver brewers established in 2012, RiverNorth Brewery crafts #AdventureFuel only available in Colorado, with a full lineup of crushable cans and cellar-worthy bottles. Like the brewery at facebook.com/rivernorthbrewery or follow and tag @rivernorthbrew on Twitter and Instagram.
